Lost my umbrella. Tied my hair up in my scarf to minimize the effects of rain while waiting for the bus. Listened to two guys staring at me murmur about what it would be like to be with a mysterious, virgin, Muslim girl. Thought about macing them. Actually, the point of anything intended to keep sexuality sacred is to actually keep it sacred and not become a “good girl” fantasy for men. Many women here wear real hijab and I hope they don’t hear a lot of that garbage. I would really like to see a man stand up to this. Anybody?
